A very delayed Happy New Year!

What better way to start of 2010 with some rest and relaxation on the job?

The now infamous TTC driver has found himself in a Where’s Waldo kinda sitch. It’s a somewhat angerfying subject for commuters, but they’ve unleashed some creativity through Photoshop fun.

Punctuality, what?

I don’t know about you but being on-time is an elusive concept for me people always sometimes. Fabrica’s come out with an interesting concept where the minute hand on the clock tricks you into fast forwarding three minutes ahead…trippy.

Some classic Sesame Street magic for nostalgia’s sake. Can you believe this was 27 years ago? That’s older than the MBM team.

Eye Spin

So my latest “search for everything and anything about it” obsession is Edie Sedgwick, the Factory Girl and angel behind Velvet Underground. I stumbled upon this gem of an artist: Fatoe (aka Mike Orduña)

His artwork is gorgeous, exciting, like taking pop culture and an iTunes visualizer and spining it in a cotton candy machine while dropping some acid. Spin baby, spin.

Fire Design

Posted by Michael | Uncategorized | Thursday 11 June 2009 9:19 pm

I thought the excessiveness of printed hoodies in the market killed print, but print lives on in other forms!

Fire Design, a french company, makes unique, artfully designed fire extinguishers. Roughly translated from their site:

“Innovative concept and unique in Europe, the Fire design is a security apparatus that enables you to combat any outbreak of fire and protect domestic and your family best.

A fire of any kind is very quickly the extent and can turn into fire, so the Fire design must become an inescapable subject of your decoration. Coupled with a smoke detector, you can ensure the safety of your loved ones. Depending on your wishes, it will melt in your decoration or captivate all eyes.

More than a fire extinguisher, Fire design also offers a range of guarantees and new services in the world of fire safety in particular.”
