I’ve been viewing the site under various internet browsers and for some odd reason the site looks totally weird in Apple Safari 3.1 for XP. Under Firefox (yay) and Internet Explorer (boo) the site looks fine, haven’t gone and installed Opera yet but I think it’ll be ok. Not hating on Safari or anything, I mean it’s kind of new to the whole Windows side. It’s just everything is bolded in Safari, and not just MBM, many sites are all bolded for some reason. Although the minimalistic feel of Safari is quite nice =)

Sad day for the pirates of the world.

So it’s about 10:12 AM EST, I woke up a little while ago and did my usual morning routine which consisted of rolling around, telling myself it is still early, and eventually dragging my ass downstairs to wash up. As I left the bathroom all fresh and less grouchy, I sat down at my desk and loaded up Torrentspy (one of the many BiTTorrent trackers I browse) to see if I can find anything by aXXo to watch. However I’m greeted by this:

Friends of TorrentSpy,

We have decided on our own, not due to any court order or agreement, to bring the Torrentspy.com search engine to an end and thus we permanently closed down worldwide on March 24, 2008.

At first I couldn’t believe it, there was no way this could have happened. So I immediately loaded TorrentFreak (a news blog about torrents) to confirm what deep down I already knew it was true.

To cap this off, Torrentspy wasn’t the best tracker, many argue that Pirate Bay is. However, it used to be king before its fall. And for that, I shall remember you Torrentspy.

1 UP

Back in December I made this in Illustrator as something fun and ridiculously nerdy for the guys for Christmas. I turned this into a silkscreen print on illustration board.

A while ago after I received my R4 for the Nintendo DS, I created this skin since the default ones were really horrible.
